Police: Arrest Made In November Shooting

The Dover Police Department has arrested Brice Hall, 23 of Dover, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on November 13th, 2023. Police said the arrest follows the investigation into the shooting of a 20-year-old man on Hampton Drive in Dover.

The investigation by Dover Police Department detectives led to the identification of Hall as one of the suspects according to police. A warrant for his arrest was issued and just before 1:00 on Thursday afternoon, Hall was apprehended without incident by Dover Probation and Parole officers. He was then transported to the Dover Police Department for processing and arraignment.

Hall faces multiple charges, including Assault Second Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Conspiracy Second Degree, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Reckless Endangering First Degree, Possession of a Firearm By a Person Prohibited, Criminal Mischief, and Violation of Probation. He has been committed to SCI with a bail set at $47,000 cash.

The shooting occurred in the 100 block of Hampton Drive in Dover. The victim, a 20-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body and a graze wound on his lower body. He was transported to Bayhealth Kent Campus with non-life-threatening injuries. The initial investigation revealed that as the victim was arriving at his home, three suspects, described as black males wearing ski masks, were in the vicinity. One of the suspects fired a handgun at the victim, and the suspects subsequently fled the scene according to police.
