Just before 8:30 AM, emergency services were dispatched to a reported stabbing incident on Ashland Drive in Milton.
The response teams included rescue crews from the Lewes Fire Department, Sussex County Paramedics, and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 2.
According to initial reports from the scene, one individual was injured and subsequently transported by Trooper 2 helicopter to a trauma center in New Castle County.
The current condition of the victim and details surrounding the incident remain unclear as this is an ongoing situation.
