Wilmington Police are currently investigating two separate shooting incidents in the city.
The first incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, around 12:30 a.m., in the 400 block of West 7th Street. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a 43-year-old male who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he is reported to be in stable condition.
The second incident took place on Thursday afternoon, at approximately 4:06 p.m., in the 100 block of West 23rd Street. In this incident, police discovered a 25-year-old male suffering from gunshot injuries. Similar to the first case, this victim was also taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
At this time, the Wilmington Police are actively conducting investigations into both shootings.
