Delaware State Police are investigating a rollover crash that occurred near the intersection of Boyds Corner Road and Milford Drive in Middletown.
The incident, which took place shortly before 4:15 p.m. on Friday, involved a vehicle that ended up on its side, resulting in two occupants being trapped inside.
Upon arrival, rescue crews began working to extricate those trapped. They successfully freed the trapped patients after approximately 20 minutes. Subsequently, the male occupant was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital. the female occupant was airlifted to the same hospital by Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4 helicopter.
The current condition of the individuals and the specific nature of their injuries have not been disclosed.
