Officials Asking For Assistance In Monday Shooting

The Wilmington Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred Monday evening at approximately 9:20. The incident took place in the area of Vandever Avenue and Jessup Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officials found a 30-year-old male who had sustained gunshot injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition police said Tuesday.
