Police Say Man Shot In Milford Saturday Night

Milford Police Department Detectives are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday evening.

Officials said at around 7:06 officers responded to the 200 Block of North Street in Milford for reports of shots fired in the area.

Upon their arrival, officers were informed that the victim had been shot but left the location. A short time later, a 28-year-old black male victim was identified, having responded to Bayhealth Sussex Campus by a private vehicle. Officials said the victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

As the investigation progresses, the Milford Police Department is appealing to the public for any relevant information regarding this incident. The investigation is being led by Det. Richard DaFonte.
