An accident involving a school bus and at least one other vehicle occurred this morning at the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike and Salem Church Road in Newark.
The incident, reported at 7:06 AM, led to up to four students being transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
Emergency response crews from the Christiana Fire Company responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. Paramedics, initially dispatched as part of the emergency response, were recalled upon assessment as their services were not needed.
The status of the occupants in the other vehicle(s) involved in the accident remains unclear at this time.
