Two Found Dead In Holly Oak-Area Home Wednesday

On Wednesday afternoon, shortly before 2:45 PM, emergency response teams, including rescue crews and HAZMAT units from New Castle County and Delaware County, Pennsylvania, were dispatched to a residence in the unit block of Clearview Avenue. The call was in response to reports of a potential explosion at the location.

Upon arrival, the crews entered the home to conduct an investigation. Their initial assessment revealed no hazardous readings inside the property. Those same crews reported that two adults were deceased inside the home.

New Castle County Police, alongside fire investigators, also responded to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.

Sources familiar with the incident tell FSU that police initially responded to the home to check on the welfare of the occupants.
