Update: DOC Inmate Who Failed To Return To Jail Apprehended

The Delaware Department of Correction announces the following offender from the Plummer Community Corrections Center (PCCC) in Wilmington who failed to return from an approved pass has been apprehended.

He turned himself in to staff at PCCC. He was arraigned at JP 11 before being committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on an Escape after Conviction Warrant in lieu of $2,500 secured bond.

The Delaware Department of Correction seeking the whereabouts of Keon Cornish.

Cornish is an offender who did not return to the Plummer Community Corrections Center (PCCC) in Wilmington from an approved pass.

Cornish, who was under management at the Level 4 facility as part of a transition process back into the community, is now wanted on an Escape after Conviction warrant.

Cornish is described as a black male, 6’01” in height, weighing 198 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on the left and right forearms. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue hooded jacket underneath a green jacket, and gray boots.

He was in custody for Violation of Parole related to a second-degree robbery conviction.
