Camper Destroyed By Fire In Cecil County

Elkton, MD – Maryland authorities are investigating a fire that occurred over the weekend in Cecil County.

A vehicle fire incident involving a camper trailer was reported on the evening of February 3, 2024, in the 300 block of Carters Mill Road in Elkton. The Singerly Fire Company responded to the scene after the fire was discovered by a neighbor at approximately 7:45 p.m.

A total of 15 firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control in less than 10 minutes. No injuries or deaths were reported as a result of the fire. However, the incident resulted in an estimated loss of $1,000.00 to the property.

The preliminary investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
