The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Monday
Officials said just before 10:30 officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 700 Block of Slaughter Street, Dover.
Responding officers arrived at the scene, where they discovered several shell casings along Slaughter Street. Further investigation revealed that a residence had been struck by bullets. The house was unoccupied at the time of the shooting, There have been no reported injuries stemming from this incident.
