Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 4:34 p.m., in the 600 block of East 8th Street.
Police located a 28-year-old male gunshot victim, who arrived at the hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. It’s not clear if officers transported the man to the hospital.
