Pro Bowling’s Delaware Classic Starts Today In Middletown

The Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) is set to host the Delaware Classic at Mid-County Lanes & Entertainment Center in Middletown from February 26 to March 3, 2024.

This eagerly anticipated event is a highlight of the 2024 PBA Tour, attracting bowling enthusiasts and competitors from across the nation to Middletown.

The Delaware Classic offers a substantial prize fund, offers $180,000 in winnings, based on a field of 64 entries. The tournament promises an exciting week of bowling, with activities ranging from a Pro-Am event to an elimination match play rounds, culminating in the live broadcast of the finals on FS1 on Sunday, March 3, at noon.

Participant must be a PBA member to enter unless they are a collegiate bowler currently on a team roster. College players can enter any PBA Tour PTQ event, with the exception of the PBA Tournament of Champions and the PBA Players Championship, after entries close for PBA members and they have created their PBA account online. The tournament kicks off with a Pro-Am event, followed by a pre-tournament qualifier (PTQ), practice sessions, and several rounds of qualifying play before narrowing down to the top 24 bowlers for the elimination match play. The progression through the rounds will lead to the final showdown broadcasted live, where the champions will vie for the top prize of $25,000.
