The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery stemming from a shoplifting that occurred yesterday afternoon at Ulta Beauty in Newark.
Officials said on March 28, 2024, at approximately 5:53 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at the Ulta Beauty located at 2130 Fashion Center Boulevard in Newark.
The preliminary investigation revealed two females requested assistance from an Ulta Beauty employee with products in a locked display case. After the employee unlocked the case, one of the suspects pushed the employee and hit her in the face with her arm according to police.
The suspects then placed several products in a bag and fled on foot with the unpaid merchandise. Responding troopers searched the area for the suspects, but were unable to locate them. The employee sustained a minor injury.
The suspects are described as black females.
