Just before 1:00 on Sunday afternoon, Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to Little Caesars on Latimer Circle in Wilmington for a report of an armed robbery.
It was reported that while making a purchase the suspect went around the counter and alluded that he had a handgun according to police. The suspect then removed money from the register and fled the scene.
After a multiple jurisdictional investigation, Police were able to establish Lakwang Bungy as a suspect. Lakwang Bungy was located in the City of Wilmington and Detectives from New Castle County Division of Police charged one felony count of robbery in the first degree and one felony count of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony.
Bungy was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and held in lieu of $66,000 cash bail.
