Police: Second Claymont-Area Business Hit By Armed Robber

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday night at Pat’s Pizza in Wilmington.

On March 10, 2024, at approximately 10:12 p.m., troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Pat’s Pizza located at 1815 Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington.

The investigation showed an unknown male suspect armed with a handgun approached an employee as he was locking up and demanded the employee provide him with money from the business. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot southbound on Philadelphia Pike with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing and a mask.

A suspect meeting the same description attempted to rob a CVS store less than 10 minutes from this Pat’s location on Friday. Troopers have not publicly connected the two incidents.
