Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred near the 4000 block of Old Linden Hill Road.
Officials said on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 1:04 a.m., Delaware State Police Troopers notified New Castle County Police that they were at the Christiana Hospital with an 18-year-old male Victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was provided with immediate medical care while at the hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
Troopers determined that the shooting occurred near the 4000 block of Old Linden Hill Road and notified The New Castle County Police. Patrol Officers, Detectives from the Division’s Major Crimes Unit, and Evidence Detection Unit then responded to the scene.
On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, officials said Detectives determined that this was an isolated incident but did not elaborate any further.
