Just before 6:30, Monday morning rescue crews responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of South Dupont Boulevard and Village Drive in Smyrna
Initial reports indicated that three vehicles were involved property damage accident. However, arriving emergency crews requested an ambulance to evaluate one of the drivers involved.
Cews closed all northbound lanes of the road to facilitate the clearing and investigation of the accident for part of the morning commute.
It’s not clear if anyone was transported to the hospital in relation to the incident. Further details will be provided as they become available.
