Delmarva Power has reported a power outage affecting over 2,000 customers in the Glasgow area of New Castle County. The utility company has deployed crews to the site to determine the cause of the disruption. According to the company’s statement, these crews are currently conducting an investigation and performing any essential repairs to restore power.
“We are aware of an outage impacting approximately 2,000 customers in the Glasgow-area of New Castle County. We have crews on-site to identify the cause of the outage and will make any necessary repairs. Crews will work safely and as quickly as possible to restore service to impacted customers. We currently do not have an estimated time of restoration, but customers can check their outage status on delmarva.com or by using the mobile app.” said Delmarva Power spokesman Zach Chizar.
The statement did not address other outages across the region.
