Four Women Robbed By Armed Gunmen In Waffle House Parking Lot

Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation into an armed robbery that occurred in the early hours of the morning in Dover.

The incident took place at around 4:00 a.m. on April 19, 2024, in the parking lot of the Waffle House located at 4003 South Dupont Highway.

According to police reports, four women were waiting in a disabled vehicle in the parking lot. While waiting for assistance, they were confronted by two armed individuals described as black men. The assailants brandished firearms and demanded the women hand over their belongings from the car, which the victims did without resistance according to police. Following the robbery, the suspects fled on foot.

The victims were not physically harmed during the incident according to police.

The investigation is being handled by the Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit of the Delaware State Police. Authorities are seeking any information that may lead to the identification and apprehension of the individuals responsible for this crime.
