Just before 12:40 PM, rescue crews were dispatched to the intersection of N DuPont Highway and W Rustic Lane in Dover following reports of a motor vehicle collision. The crash involved a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, was transported to Kent General Hospital in critical condition.
As a result of the incident, the southbound lanes of DuPont Highway are currently closed at Scarborough Road. Authorities are on the scene, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
