Police: Woman Wanted For Robbing Kohls At Gunpoint

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at Kohl’s in Wilmington.

Officials said on April 9, 2024, at approximately 11:37 a.m., troopers responded to a robbery at Kohl’s, located at 4437 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington. During the preliminary investigation, detectives learned that a woman came into the store, and employees recognized her as someone who had shoplifted from Kohl’s before according to police.

When a store employee approached and followed the woman out of the store, she pulled a gun and threatened him police said. The woman then went back into the store and stole several items before running away. Troopers searched the area for the woman but were unable to find her.

The suspect is described as black woman, thin build, wearing a brown Gap shirt and green leggings.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit continues to investigate this incident.
