Emergency crews have responded to an incident on Route 1 (Coastal Highway) near Argos Road in Milford.
Initial reports indicate that a vehicle went through the guardrail and became fully submerged in water. The accident prompted the closure of the northbound lanes of the highway, affecting all traffic in the area. It’s not clear id the road has reopened.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 5:49 AM, with initial reports indicating that at least one survivor was pulled from the water. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
