At approximately 3:38 PM on Sunday, rescue teams were dispatched to the intersection of N DuPont Highway and School Lane in New Castle following reports that two pedestrians had been struck by a vehicle.
The incident commander at the scene has confirmed a total of three patients are involved. Two pedestrians were transported to Christiana Hospital. The condition and injuries of the third patient remains unclear at this time.
