At 11:23 AM, emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of E Chestnut Hill Road and Gender Road near Vince’s Sports Center in Newark, following reports of a serious motor vehicle accident.
Initial reports indicate that at least one person was ejected from a vehicle. Lifesaving measures are currently being administered. Command reports two patients in total.
One patient has transported one person in critical condition. The condition of the second patient is not clear at this time.
E Chestnut Hill Road has been closed by the arriving crews. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
