Wilmington Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place Thursday morning at around 8:00. The incident occurred in the vicinity of 7th Street and N Spruce Street.
Upon their arrival, rescue crews found a male in his 40s suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders attended to the victim at the scene before he was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
