Police: Man Tied Up And Beaten Inside His Laurel Home

The Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred early Wednesday morning in Laurel.

Officials said on May 29, 2024, at approximately 6:07 a.m., troopers responded to a house on the 32000 block of Old Stage Road, for a home invasion. When troopers arrived, they learned that two suspects entered the house, tied the victim up, and assaulted him with what appeared to be a gun, that caused minor injuries. The suspects ran from the house with an undisclosed amount of money and property. The victim was able to get to the front door and call to a passing car for help.

The description of the suspects is unknown and surveillance footage is not available at this time.
