Route 7 Crash Sends Two To Hospital Wednesday

New Castle County Paramedics and Christiana Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle collision with entrapment on Route 7 northbound near Stanton Christiana Road today at approximately 9:10 a.m.

The incident involved significant injuries, requiring the extraction and transportation of two patients to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

The first patient, a 30-year-old woman, was reported in stable condition with extremity injuries and potential internal injuries.

The second, a 65-year-old woman, was also in stable condition, suffering from a possible head injury and possible internal injuries.

Delaware State Police have taken up the investigation into the cause of the collision.
