Two Hispanic Males Sought In Another Parking Lot Heist

The Delaware State Police are investigating a theft from a vehicle that occurred yesterday afternoon in a bank parking lot in Wilmington.

Officials said on April 29, 2024, at approximately 2:33 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle in the parking lot of the Bank of America located at 5215 Concord Pike in Wilmington.

The investigation showed that two unknown male suspects distracted the victim by falsely claiming her car’s tire was on fire as she was driving out of the bank’s parking lot. While the victim stopped and checked on her tire, one of the suspects entered her car and stole money that the victim had just withdrawn from the bank. The suspects then fled on foot towards Concord Pike.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic males.

Following the assault, the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle heading towards Maryland Avenue.
