Reports Of A Shooting In The Tallyville Area Early Wednesday

First responders, including New Castle County Paramedics, New Castle County Police, and crews from the Talleyville Fire Company, were dispatched to Talley Day Park in the Tallyville area early Wednesday for a reports of a shooting.

Initial report indicated the shooting occurred in a wooded area near the library building at 1306 Foulk Road, sources familiar with the incident tell First State Update.

Upon arrival, police conducted a search of the area but did not locate any shooting victims. However, there were indications that a female victim may have been transported from the scene by a personal vehicle. These details have not yet been confirmed by the police.

At the present time it is not clear if there is a shooting victim.

Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4 assisted in the search, scanning the area for about 30 minutes before returning to Summit Airport.
