The Cecil County Fair is set to run from Friday, July 19 to Saturday, July 27, 2024, offering a wide array of entertainment and activities for all ages. Established in 1953, the fair now draws over 75,000 visitors each year, celebrating the county’s agricultural heritage while providing numerous opportunities for children and adults to engage with modern agriculture.
Highlights include the thrilling demolition derby, captivating circus performances, and exciting shoot-outs. Attendees can also enjoy blacksmith demonstrations by Jason Anderson and live music performances from various bands such as Throwback Junkies and the Justin Taylor Band.
The carnival midway offers rides, games, and food for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can also participate in various contests such as the pie eating contest, hay bale toss, and big wheel race.
