Red Lion Crash Leaves Man Trapped Wednesday

At approximately 12:42 on Wednesday, New Castle County Paramedics and the Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Red Lion Road and Jestan Boulevard following a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, fire department units discovered a collision involving a sedan and a dump truck.

A 29-year-old male was trapped in the sedan and required extrication. New Castle County Paramedics provided treatment for the individual, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was subsequently transported in stable condition by a Christiana Fire Company ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

An additional male, of unknown age, was evaluated at the scene for possible injuries but declined further medical care.

The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the incident.
