Three Teens Charged In Milford Incidents, Released

On the evening of July 12, 2024, between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to three separate incidents across the city involving individuals reporting being shot with a hard object, believed to be a pellet, from a passing silver sedan.

Responding officers quickly located the suspect vehicle, leading to the apprehension of a 16-year-old male juvenile in possession of a water bead gun. Officials said further investigation revealed the involvement of two additional 17-year-old male juveniles.

Warrants were subsequently obtained for all three juveniles. The 16-year-old and one of the 17-year-olds were charged with Conspiracy 3rd Degree, three counts of Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree, two counts of Offensive Touching, and Disorderly Conduct. The second 17-year-old was charged with Conspiracy 3rd Degree, Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree, Offensive Touching, and Disorderly Conduct.

All three juveniles were processed on their active warrants and released to their parents or guardians. They are scheduled to appear in Kent County Family Court at a future date.

The victims reported minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
