On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 8:23 p.m., emergency crews responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian at Southgate Industrial Park in New Castle.
Crews responded to the accident near the intersection of Boulden Boulevard and Southgate Boulevard. Upon arrival, crews reported that life-saving measures were being administered to a female patient at the scene.
The patient, who sustained serious injuries in the crash, was quickly transported to Christiana Hospital.
Boulden Boulevard was closed while the accident was investigated and cleared.
