Troopers Identify Man Found Dead In Vehicle

Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation into a homicide that occurred in Dover on Monday

According to officials, the incident took place on September 16, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m. when troopers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Denney’s Road following a report of a vehicle found in a ditch.

Upon arrival, troopers found 45-year-old Antonio Drummond of Dagsboro, Delaware, inside the vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Drummond was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this case, and no further details have been released at this time.
