Woman Seriously Injured In Rollover Crash Friday

At approximately 5:15 p.m. on September 20, 2024, emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Summit Bridge Road and Labrador Lane following reports of a motor vehicle collision involving a rollover.

Spokeswoman Leslie Antonelli-Hobbs said New Castle County Paramedics, the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, and the Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Company responded to the scene, where they found a 39-year-old female who had managed to extricate herself from the vehicle.

The patient sustained serious extremity injuries, along with potential internal injuries. After receiving initial treatment on scene, she was transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by New Castle County Paramedics aboard a Volunteer Hose Company ambulance. Her condition is currently listed as serious.

The Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
