At Least One Seriously Injured In Rollover Crash Thursday

Officials are investigating a crash that occurred Thursday evening in Newark.

At 7:12 last evening, rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder, alongside New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4, responded to a rollover crash at the intersection of Corner Ketch Road and Papermill Road.

Preliminary details indicate that as many as three individuals were evaluated at the scene. One patient, suffering serious injuries, was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital for further treatment.

Initial reports indicate that Good Samaritans were assisting at the scene prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.

The situation remains under investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
