Motorcycle Rider Hospitalized After Crash Wednesday

Authorities are investigating a crash that sent one to the hospital on Wednesday.

At approximately 8:20 PM, a motorcycle crash occurred on South Dupont Hwy in Kent County. Initial reports from the scene indicate that the incident involved a collision between a motorcycle and a parked truck at low speed.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene to find the rider with non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Correction: A motorcycle accident also occurred around thirty minutes prior to this crash on Longridge Road in Clayton. The rider in that crash was airlifted to Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.
