Man Found On Friday Was Stabbed To Death

Wilmington Police are conducting a death investigation after locating an injured person.

Officials said on November 1, at approximately 11:24 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of West 4th Street in reference to a check of the welfare complaint. Upon arrival, police located an unresponsive 30-year-old male suffering from a laceration to his arm. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. 

After further investigation in conjunction with the Division of Forensic Sciences, it has been determined that the victim died as a result of a fatal stabbing, police said Monday.
