Breaking: Man Found Shot At I-95 Service Center Sunday

Early Sunday morning, just after 7:00 a.m., emergency crews from the Christiana Fire Company and New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched to the I-95 Service Center in Newark.

Reports indicated that a man was found near the Starbucks at the service center with a gunshot wound.

The victim, described as an adult male in his 40s, was found with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Emergency personnel worked to stabilize him at the scene before transporting him to a nearby trauma center. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been disclosed, and his current condition remains unknown.

Law enforcement officials are on scene investigating.
