Police are conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 12:50 p.m. in the 900 block of Jefferson Street in Wilmington.
Officers responded yo Wilmington Hospital after learning that a 37-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound had arrived at the emergency room. The victim was reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and the investigation remains active.
