Authorities are conducting a death investigation in the area of 740 Ferry Cut Off Street in Historic New Castle early Thursday. Emergency responders along with police responded to reports of a body behind the Walgreen just before 9:00 am.
Due to the investigation’s proximity to the railroad tracks, officials have notified railroad operators that responders are working near the tracks.
