Reports: Armored Car Robbed Near Elkton Walmart

Elkton Police are currently investigating a reported armored car robbery that took place Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Walmart on Route 40 in Maryland.

Indications are that the incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. as the armored car was servicing an ATM located near the Chick-f-la.

Sources tell FSU that the driver may have been pepper spayed but multiple suspects.

The parking lot in the area on the ATM has been cordoned off as police investigate. Elkton Police have yet to release details regarding the suspects involved or the amount of money taken during the robbery.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
