MIDDLETOWN, Del. – A serious crash involving a motorcycle has shut down Route 301 southbound near Hyetts Corner Road on Friday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the scene at approximately 9:15 a.m. following reports of a collision. Due to the severity of the crash, Trooper 4 was dispatched to transport the injured motorcyclist to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
Authorities closed Route 301 southbound in the area of the crash as investigators work to determine the circumstances leading to the incident. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays.
