Troopers Investigate Damage To Well In London Britain Township

Chester County Desk – Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Avondale is investigating a case of criminal mischief that occurred on Bills Way in London Britain Township, Chester County.

According to a public information release report, the incident took place on February 1, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m. The victim, a 53-year-old man from Landenberg, Pennsylvania, discovered on February 13 that the wires to his well pump had been cut. He subsequently reported the incident to authorities.

Troopers from the Avondale Patrol Unit responded to the scene at approximately 6:00 p.m. on February 3 to assess the damage and initiate an investigation. The nature of the crime has been classified as “criminal mischief under $1,000.”

At this time, no suspects have been identified, and it remains unclear what may have motivated the vandalism. PSP Avondale has confirmed that the case is under investigation.
