Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 4:23 p.m., in the 1300 block of Banning Street.
Police located a 17-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Sources familiar with the investigation tell FSU that the teen was dropped off at Wilmington Hospital in a personal vehicle.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
