Troopers Update Monday Morning Fatal I-495 Accident

The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred early this morning on I-495 in Wilmington that left one man dead.

Officials said on March 24, 2025, at approximately 4:57 a.m., a silver 2011 Ford Fusion was stopped in the center lane of I-495 northbound, just south of the exit for US Route 13.
