Reports: Over A Dozen Shots Fired During Trolley Square Triple Shooting

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday morning in the city’s Trolley Square neighborhood. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:24 a.m. in the 1600 block of Delaware Avenue.

Sources familiar with the investigation told First State Update on Saturday that officers were dispatched after reports of 13 shots being fired in the area.

Upon arrival, police discovered that three individuals had sustained gunshot wounds and had transported themselves to a local hospital. Authorities confirmed that the victim, a 23-year-old female, a 32-year-old male, and a 25-year-old male, were being treated in stable condition.
