Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday morning in the city’s Trolley Square neighborhood. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:24 a.m. in the 1600 block of Delaware Avenue.
Upon arrival, police discovered that three individuals had sustained gunshot wounds and had transported themselves to a local hospital. Authorities confirmed that the victims, a 23-year-old female, a 32-year-old male, and a 25-year-old male, were being treated in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear. Police have not yet released any information regarding possible suspects or a motive.
