Police Say Pair Impersonated Federal Agents During Armed Robbery

Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Milton early Saturday morning.

Officials said on June 28, 2025, at approximately 1:56 a.m., troopers investigated an armed robbery that occurred in Milton.

Troopers said the victim was traveling on Burton Road in the area of Sand Hill Road in Milton, when an unknown vehicle flashed red and white lights behind him. The victim pulled over and was confronted by two-masked male suspects wearing vests labeled “ICE”, according to police.

The victim was then removed from his vehicle by a suspect armed with a knife, while the other suspect pointed a firearm at the victim officials said. The suspect with the knife poked the weapon into the victim’s side and took the victim’s wallet. The suspect then punched the victim in the face, and both suspects fled in their vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for an injury to his face.

The suspects are described as two unknown males, wearing masks, and dark-colored clothing.
