Delaware State Police have arrested a Milford man following a motorcycle crash in Milton that led to multiple criminal and traffic charges.
On Monday, September 22, 2025, at approximately 3:17 p.m., troopers responded to Issacs Road north of Milton-Ellendale Highway for a single-vehicle motorcycle crash. The investigation determined that a Suzuki GSX-600L, operated by 20-year-old Shymier Olden, was traveling northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the east side of the roadway. Troopers learned that Olden had been operating the motorcycle aggressively before the crash, including passing on the shoulder and traveling at a high rate of speed police said.
Officials said a computer check revealed the Suzuki was unregistered, uninsured, and reported stolen in 2023. Olden was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. After being discharged, he was transported to Troop 7, where he was charged with Receiving Stolen Property Value Over $1,500, Aggressive Driving, Driving at an Unreasonable or Imprudent Speed, Overtaking and Passing on the Right, Failure to Have Required Insurance, and other related traffic violations.
Olden was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
